Yeshurun Bridegrooms Of The Law 5772
Our Chasonim for 5772 are Colin Dworkin (left - Choson Torah) and Jeremy Salter (below - Choson Bereshis). Both gentlemen are well known to the community and both have served on Yeshurun's Board of Management for a number of years. Colin is also a past Warden of
Yeshurun, takes our children's services and is conductor and Maestro of the Kol Kehillah Choir.
Jeremy has previously been responsible for helping ensure the security of the congregation and currently holds the premises brief on the Board of Management.
We wish both gentlemen, their wives and their families mazzal tov on being accorded this honour and look forward to celebrating with them on Simchas Torah. The Chasonim invite the whole congregation to a buffet reception after Maariv on the evening of Simchas Torah in the Leff Hall.
Always Shower With Cold Water To Relieve Aching Muscles
Earlier in September, Yeshurun member Andy Marsden cycled from London to Paris in aid
of Shaarei Tzedek. Andy says to everyone who generously sponsored him "thank you so much for your support". If you haven’t yet sponsored him it’s still not too late. Please log on to the Just Giving site.
Andy almost gave up on the roads south of Dieppe, but Hermolis tuna sandwiches and the thoughts of almost giving up gave him the impetus to keep going. Plus that fact that his daughter Evie had told him on the Sunday morning – "I know you can do it dad." Andy felt too guilty to give up and gave the next 20+ km section a go – "it was amazing". Read the rest of his tale here.

David advises "If you missed this one, don't worry there will be loads more great events for you to join in with, keep up to date on our Facebook group "EYYS," or emailing him to be added to the mailing list".
