Rabbi Lewis, the Honorary Officers and the Board of Management are delighted to advise the kehilla that they have appointed Rabbi Benji and Rebbetzen Aviva Landau as Associate Rabbi and Rebbetzen of Edgware Yeshurun. This appointment will enable the Yeshurun to benefit from the wealth of communal expertise of both Rabbi and Rebbetzen Landau gained from organising activities over a number of years. We look forward to their involvement in many programmes and shiurim for men, women and youth of all ages. Rabbi Landau grew up in Hendon. After school and spending time in post-high-school yeshiva he returned to England and gained a degree in Business Studies. After graduating he and Aviva married and he spent a number of years learning in kollel in Israel. After gaining semicha they returned to England where they worked for a number of years in the rabbinate including 3 years as Assistant Rabbi in Stanmore and Canons Park United Synagogue. Recently he took on the role of director of Mesila UK. Aviva Landau grew up in Golders Green. After finishing A-levels she spent a year in Michlala seminary after which she studied History in UCL.
